Thanks for connecting up with us and please know that whoever you are, no matter where you are in your journey in life and in faith you are very welcomed here at St. Paul’s. We have the unique characteristic of offering the feel of a small country church while being very much alive in the fact of our area’s interesting development.
We invite you to be with us on any Sunday and see if God has something for your life just where you find yourself emotionally and spiritually at this moment.
Although we have Sunday School and two adult bible studies, the pastor loves best to sit face-to-face and discuss the many questions of life and faith. You need not be a member to share this.
Our e-mail is a great tool to connect with us: spshawnee@Frontiernet.net. and we are also on Facebook.
Meanwhile, look around at the beauty that God has given to us. Nature, good people, children, animals and all such creatures are a positive invitation to “Let rejoicing in the Lord be your strength”. In an era of bad news and sad news please remember all the good news. Jesus suggested that we all have “eyes to see and ears to hear”. Not a bad idea.
Palm Sunday Service (March 24) begins Holy Week with a special drama by our Children’s Drama Group.
On Maundy Thursday (March 28) at 6:30 pm we gather for a pot luck supper after which we remain at table to remember and celebrate the Last Supper of the Lord with word and sacrament.
Good Friday (March 29) at 7:30 pm we remember what Jesus had done on that Friday so long ago.
Easter (March 31) is the great festive day of life and love and light and we gather at 7:30 am for our “Sonrise Service” followed by an Easter Breakfast. Our later Service is at 10:30 am. Our Choir and Chime Choir add so much to the beauty and inspiration of these days. We encourage you to come, make that week truly holy and discover what God has to say and reveal to you personally.
